Purpose

These terms govern access to and use of the website krakenshield.eu. Browsing the website implies acceptance of these terms.

Access

The website is free to access. KRAKEN HOLDING may suspend access, in particular for maintenance, without incurring any liability.

Content

Information published on the website is provided for information purposes only and is not contractually binding. Kredit purchases are governed by our terms of sale.

Authorized use of the services

Active analysis capabilities (penetration testing, configuration changes) may only be used on systems you own or for which you hold written authorization. Any unauthorized use is prohibited, is the sole responsibility of its author and may constitute a criminal offence (articles 323-1 et seq. of the French Criminal Code).

Business account

Accounts are reserved for professionals acting on behalf of an organization. You guarantee that the information you provide is accurate and that your credentials remain confidential; we recommend enabling two-factor authentication.

Proof of control and authorization mandate

Before any penetration test or code analysis, you prove that you control the domain (DNS record, file or meta tag published at the address shown) and you accept an authorization-to-test mandate. A DNS proof also covers subdomains; a file or meta tag proof covers that host only. The proof is re-checked periodically: if it disappears, tests are suspended. Deleting a domain from your account withdraws the authorization.

SSL and privacy audits only observe what a public website shows any visitor: they may cover a website you do not control. You remain responsible for how you use its results.

Tests performed

• From our infrastructure: analysis of the TLS/SSL configuration (protocols, cipher suites, certificates, known vulnerabilities), HTTP security headers, and DNS and email configuration.
• Non-destructive tests: no denial of service, no brute force, deliberately rate-limited, no change to your systems.
• Upcoming capabilities (code analysis, penetration testing, Cloudflare configuration) will be subject to additional terms presented before their first use.

KrakenShield certifications

KrakenShield certifications (Awareness, Associate, Master) are vendor certifications, not registered with the French national qualifications registers (RNCP, Répertoire spécifique). They can be verified publicly by their identifier; the holder’s full name and organization appear only with their consent.

The certification exam is taken alone, without outside help, without artificial intelligence tools and without any material other than one’s own knowledge; candidates commit to this before each attempt. Its questions are confidential: copying, recording or sharing them is forbidden. Leaving the exam screen during a question makes that question wrong; unusual sessions may be reviewed.

In case of proven fraud or disclosure of the questions, KRAKEN HOLDING may revoke the certification obtained, without refund of the Kredits used. A revoked certification is shown as such on the verification page.

Liability

KRAKEN HOLDING strives to ensure the accuracy of published information but cannot guarantee it. It cannot be held liable for indirect damage arising from the use of the website, nor for the content of third-party websites it links to.

Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Failing an amicable settlement, any dispute falls within the jurisdiction of the competent French courts, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules.
